Does Your Employee Suggestion Program Have the Right Stuff to Earn a CSSD Certification?
The Center for
Suggestion System Development has just developed the first certification
process designed exclusively for your employee suggestion program.
In just one day your program can be measured, assessed, and if it
meets the criteria, awarded our Employee Suggestion Program Certification.
The
steps involved to Employee Suggestion
Program Certification are:
- During an on-site visit the Center for Suggestion System Development
conducts the comprehensive Employee Suggestion System Assessment which
rates the effectiveness of all aspects of your suggestion program.
We'll be examining nine areas: Program Basics, Evaluations, Training,
Budgets & Statistics, Goals & Support, Awards & Recognition,
Marketing & Promotions, the Program Administrator, and Results.
We will also discuss your goals and strategies for the program.
- The CSSD
writes a professional summary report based on the findings of
the assessment. Identified will be the strong points and areas
for improvement for your program. Recommendations for improvements
will also be cited, taking into consideration your goals and strategies.
- Depending
upon the score, your program will be eligible for:
Level 1 Certification -- Bronze 3.0 - 3.49
Level 2 Certification -- Silver 3.5 - 3.99
Level 3 Certification -- Gold 4.0 - 4.49
Level 4 Certification -- Platinum 4.5 - 5.0
- If your program
receives a score of less than 3.0, we will develop strategies
which will increase the effectiveness of the program, bringing
it up to a level where it can qualify for Employee Suggestion Program Certification
the next time
Upon
qualification you will receive:
- A distinctive
certification plaque engraved with your organization's name and
the level of certification it earned
- A copy of
the Employee Suggestion System Assessment, scores received, breakdown of
scores by area and explanation of the scoring
- A spiral-bound
report detailing your employee suggestion program's strengths, areas needing
improvement, and recommendations for improvement based on your
goals and strategies.
Some
benefits of having your program certified are:
- The prestige
of earning an industry honor
- It builds
credibility and support for the program with management and suggesters

you know how your suggestion program fares compared to other programs
- It identifies
the strengths and weaknesses of your program

effectiveness of your employee suggestion program is improved
